Here we are again not only birds seen today but plenty of fungi too. Bird highlights were Black-tailed Godwits, Goldcrest, Little Egret and a Redpoll (Lesser).

Birds seen : Black-headed Gull, Black-tailed Godwit, Blackbird, Blue Tit, Buzzard, Canada Goose, Carrion Crow, Cetti’s Warbler, Chaffinch, Coot, Cormorant, Dunnock, Gadwall, Goldcrest, Great Crested Grebe. Great Tit, Greenfinch, Grey Heron, Greylag Goose, Herring Gull, Jackdaw, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Lesser Redpoll, Little Egret, Little Grebe, Long-tailed Tit, Magpie, Moorhen, Mute Swan, Pheasant, Pochard, Robin, Shoveler, Teal, Tufted Duck, Wigeon, Woodpigeon (38)

Once again I was at my special place, I few more things were seen today, unlike a few days ago. Bearded Tits were seen, Black-tailed Godwits, Buzzards, Kingfisher, Little Grebes, Little Egret, Water Rail, Whooper Swans were todays bird highlights, a couple of Dragonfly species put in an appearance, Migrant Hawker and Willow Emerald Damselfly

Once again at Old Moor, nothing special today, just a trip out. I spent most of the time around the bird feeders, seeing, Blue Tit, Greta Tit, Dunnock, Grey Wagtail, Chaffinch the usual suspects.

On the reserve I saw Little Grebe. Wigeon, Shoveler, Gadwall, Little Egret, Mallard, Mute Swan, Teal and Tufted Duck

The bird of the day was a Caspian Gull, which was a new bird for me at Old Moor
