Since we’re still having to stay local and not travel, I once again had a trip to Sands Lane, ok not the best place in the world to see nature but nature it is and I was out.
Pied Wagtail was still about but the addition of a Grey Wagtail was indeed a welcome bonus. The other birds about were Mute Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard and two pair of Goosander, these were mainly about the weir. The usual gulls were seen Black headed, Common Gulls and Herring Gulls but numbers were lower than my last visit.
